The summer camp leader guides are a must read for any Adult Leader attending summer camp with Troop 5 this year. Parents and Scouts will also find a ton of great information regarding the program activities in these guides.

We are adding this new announcement to the website so that you are all aware of merit badges currently being offered. As a reminder, a Scout is encourage to seek out a Merit Badge counselor at anytime - not just when one is being offered. You will need to read and understand the requirements for the merit badge, discuss with a prospective counselor, get a blue card from Mr. Mohnkern and discuss with and get the Scoutmaster's signature on the blue card.

Dear Troop 5 Family,

As you know I have elected to step down from the Committee Chair position. As some of you know we put together a team to assess potential replacements. That team was comprised of: Andy Wickwire, Ray Chadwick, Martin Lavin, Lisa Fortier and Rob Figler. They conducted a very thorough search and at last night’s Committee meeting presented their candidate to the rest of the Troop Committee, Adult Leaders and whoever else wishing to attend.
